We all sense on some level other people’s energy.  You probably have experienced this when someone with strong energy, either positive or negative, enters the room.  A wave of that person’s every hits you.  You are either attracted to that person or repelled.  And it can change the whole environment in the room for better or worse.

This is important when considering your own energy field.  What impact is it having on others?  We are not happy and joyful all of the time.  But being aware of how we feel is the first step in being able to change to a more positive mood.  This can be done by taking several deep breaths.  If you stop and practice taking a few mindful breaths throughout the day, you are more likely to stay grounded regardless of what you encounter. This is also a good defense when we encounter someone else’s negative energy.
